Summary
GoGrab (Delivery Simulator) does not collect, sell, share, or upload your personal information to any server we operate. The app is a fully local simulation. There is no real account system, no real payments, and no backend that receives your data.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application
GoGrab (package ID
com.foodyapp.delivery_simulator), a grocery delivery
simulator for demonstration and learning purposes.
Contact for privacy questions: privacy@gograb.app (replace with your real support email before publishing on Play Store).
2. Information we collect
We do not collect personal data.
In particular, we do not collect or request:
- Name, email, phone number, or account credentials (there is no real sign-in)
- Payment card or banking details (payments are fake / simulated)
- Precise location for analytics or advertising
- Contacts, photos, microphone, or camera content
- Advertising IDs used by us for tracking across apps
Any profile details, addresses, cart items, orders, wallet balances, or rewards you enter exist only as local demo data on your device.
3. How data is stored on your device
The app may save simulated session data locally (for example using on-device storage such as Hive) so your cart, settings, and demo progress persist between launches. This information:
- Stays on your device
- Is never sent to our servers (we do not operate an app backend)
- Can be cleared from within the app (Settings → Clear local data) or by uninstalling the app
4. Internet use & third parties
Most of the app works offline using fake/local data. Limited internet access may occur when:
- Map tiles: the live delivery screen may load map imagery from OpenStreetMap (or similar public tile providers). Those providers may process standard technical requests (IP address, device/user-agent) under their own policies. We do not attach your name, account, or order history to those requests.
- Fonts: if Google Fonts are fetched at runtime, Google may receive a standard network request. You can consider this incidental infrastructure, not app analytics.
We do not use third-party advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, crash reporters that upload personal profiles, or social login providers in this app.
5. Children
GoGrab is a general-audience simulation app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we do not collect personal data at all, no additional child-directed data processing occurs through our systems.
6. Data security
Since we do not transmit your demo data to our own servers, the primary security boundary is your device. We recommend keeping your device OS updated and using the in-app “Clear local data” option if you want to wipe simulated content.
7. Your choices
- Clear local demo data from Settings in the app
- Uninstall the app to remove local storage associated with it
- Disable network access for the app via your device settings if you prefer not to load map tiles
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app’s behaviour changes (for example, if a future version introduces optional accounts or analytics). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
9. Google Play Data safety alignment
For the Play Console Data safety form, this app’s intended answers are:
- Does your app collect or share any of the required user data types? No
- Is all user data encrypted in transit? Not applicable (we do not collect/transmit user personal data)
- Do you provide a way for users to request that their data is deleted? Users can clear local data in-app or uninstall
If you later add analytics, crash reporting, accounts, or real payments, update both this page and the Play Console Data safety section before shipping.
